Ydrenas Communications is a communications consultancy firm based in Stockholm, Sweden, and was founded 2014. Ydrenas Communications provides insights, advice and hands-on support within EU affairs and Brexit. We also offers advice on public affairs, PR, corporate and customer communications and Content Marketing.

Ydrenas Communication is also producing two pod casts; Brexitpodden and Tullpodden.

The first program of ”Brexitpodden” – a podcast about Brexit & EU – was launched in March 2017 and and the first program of the podcast ”Tullpodden” – a podcast about customs and trade was launched in October 2017.

In 2017 Ydrenas Communications also launched Ydrenas Academy – an academy for EU education. Ydrenas Academy offers qualified training for companies and persons working with EU-related issues. We offer courses focusing on how EU regulation works in practice. The courses are presented at the education web platform, utbildning.se

In early 2018 Ydrenas Communications launched the Ydrenas EU monitoring service, an EU monitoring website; EU-bevakning.se. By using the EU monitoring service, clients keep up to date with the latest news from the EU and get a tailor-made EU monitoring service, including a daily newsletter and a ”Brysselrapport”.

About Rickard Ydrenäs

Rickard Ydrenäs, the CEO & Founder of Ydrenas Communications, has a background as a journalist, policy advisor and communications specialist.

Rickard Ydrenäs have experience working for five years (2009-2014) as policy advisor to MEP Olle Schmidt (ALDE) in the European Parliament and his work in the Economic and Monetary Affairs committee. Before Rickard Ydrenäs joined the office of Olle Schmidt, he had worked as a financial journalist at Privata Affärer, the biggest magazine in Sweden that focuses on personal finance and as a Project Manager for the pension provider Skandia dealing with customers’ magazines and newsletters. Ydrenäs has also worked as a communications consultant and editorial writer. He has held positions of trust in the Liberal Party of Sweden and within the Stockholm City Council. Rickard Ydrenäs has a Degree in Masters of Political Sciences (Major in Political Sciences) from Uppsala University (1998).
